This Privacy Policy explains what information Ophir Events (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects from Hosts and Guests, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Host account data: name, email address, and authentication data, handled through Supabase Auth.
Event data: event details, guest lists, RSVPs, ledger entries, seating charts, catering selections, and gift registry links that a Host enters.
Guest Media: text messages, video messages, and photos that guests submit to an event, stored in Supabase Storage.
Payment data: we do not store card numbers. Payments are processed by Stripe, which collects and handles payment information under its own privacy policy.
We use collected information to operate the Service — creating and displaying events, sending invitations and reminders (via Resend), processing payments (via Stripe), enforcing plan hosting windows and archive periods, and providing customer support. We do not sell personal information.
We share information with the service providers that power Ophir Events — Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage), Stripe (payments), and Resend (email delivery) — only as needed for them to perform those functions. Guest Media a Host approves for display is visible to that event’s guests. We do not share personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Event data and Guest Media are retained for the hosting window and post-event archive period tied to that event’s plan. After an event’s archive period ends, Host access is removed and the associated data may be deleted. Hosts can export their event’s data before an archive deadline. You may request deletion of your Host account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
Guests are invited by a Host using an email address the Host provides, and access their event through a unique link rather than creating an account. Guests should contact the Host who invited them, or us, with requests about their information.
We use industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit and access-controlled storage, to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You can access and update your Host account information from your dashboard, export your event data, and cancel subscriptions at any time. Guests can ask their Host to remove submitted media before it is approved for display.
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
